CA State Thespian Festival 2026

This workshop is designed for students new to tap or with minimal experience. Participants will learn fundamental tap techniques, basic steps, and introductory rhythms while developing musical awareness and confidence. Emphasis is placed on proper posture, weight transfer, and clear sound production. Students will apply these skills by learning a short tap combination. No prior tap experience required, please wear tennis shoes or tap shoes, if you have them.
