Let's talk about the transition from school to career in any form of arts and entertainment. Join a panel of entertainment professionals for a Q&A session!

This workshop is specifically about auditioning. It goes through all of the best practices for walking into a room, what to do, and how to avoid some common pitfalls. Students will get scenes and then practice walking into the room and performing that scene for a pretend casting director. Afterwards there will be some feedback and possibly the opportunity to try it again. We will also discuss how to deal with things like nerves ,working with a reader, etc.

This workshop is about learning the fundamentals with creating a character. It starts with talking through what to do once you get a script and figuring out who your character is and how they operate within that world. The students will get "blank" scenes and have to create a character from those scenes. From there the audience will try and guess who those characters are and see how well the students were able to let their characters shine through the scenes.
