How To Create And Produce Your Own One Person Show

In this workshop we will take some time to write based on multiple prompts designed to help you begin crafting your own one-person show. Students will have the opportunity to get up and share their work they wrote in class and receive coaching and notes. We will also learn about how to get started with budgeting and producing your own work.

Bonnie Sludikoff is an LA-based writer, performer, and activist. She has been performing on stages across Southern California since early childhood and has been producing her own work for many years with successful solo shows that have toured across Los Angeles and in NYC.

Ghost Court is a structured improv game written by veteran game designer Jason Morningstar. Given only a few prompts on a card, you will create a character and participate in a zany spectral courtroom scene, in which ghosts and humans sue one another for justice. Practice your creativity, “yes, and” and characterization skills!
