Spencer Kramber is an actor, acting coach, and casting session director based in Los Angeles. Over the past two decades, he has collaborated with more than 30 commercial casting directors on over 1,000 projects, logging thousands of hours in audition rooms and working directly with some of the industry’s top talent and creatives. This extensive experience gives him a rare, inside-out understanding of how actors can best prepare, perform, and present themselves in today’s on-camera landscape.
Spencer holds an MFA in Acting from the UCLA School of Theater, Film & Television and a BFA from Minnesota State University, Mankato. He combines the rigor of academic training with the authenticity of professional practice, creating a teaching style that is practical, engaging, and rooted in real-world experience. His mission is to help students bridge the gap between their classroom training and the professional world, offering insight into both the craft and the business of acting.
Through his platform Act With Spencer, he leads on-camera audition workshops, private coaching sessions, and guest lectures for college and high school theater programs across the country. His workshops—The Actor’s Career and The On-Camera Audition Technique—provide students with hands-on experience, industry context, and the confidence to approach auditions as their authentic selves.
Spencer has worked with thousands of actors and students nationwide, empowering the next generation of performers to bring truth, professionalism, and joy to their work. He is passionate about demystifying the casting process, building confidence through preparation, and inspiring young artists to find their voice in an ever-evolving entertainment industry.
