About me
Art Miller has been a full-time high school theatre director in the Santa Clarita Valley for over a decade. He earned his BFA from Carnegie Mellon University and MM from Manhattan School of Music, and has performed roles in professional tours, regional theatre, and opera companies throughout the United States prior to his teaching years. His students have been seen on recent national tours including 'Hell's Kitchen' and 'The Outsiders', Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Utah Shakespeare Festival, and accepted into top university programs including NYU, Ithaca, Carnegie Mellon, Cal Arts, and Syracuse, as well as being named as finalists in the Jerry Herman and Jimmy Awards. He has a passion for bringing the best out of young performing artists at all ability levels and believes in finding the unique strengths each individual student brings to the table, no matter their background or circumstances.
