About me
My name is Caitlyn Nichols and I’m a professional stage manager, technical director, and maker. I graduated from Cottey College with an Associates Arts degree in Theatre and Leadership, and then from The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama with a Bachelor of Arts with honors degree in Stage Management. I returned to the Bay Area and worked with companies such as Playful People Productions, Silicon Valley Shakespeare, and the Bracebridge Dinner as a stage and production manager. I then joined Disney Live Entertainment at the Magic Kingdom in Disney World, as a technician, puppet/muppet repair specialist, and crew chief, where I helped to create unforgettable experiences and shows. Returning to the Bay Area after the pandemic, I joined Notre Dame High School in San Jose, as a Technical Theatre Director. I also helped several companies, along with Notre Dame, to rebuild and grow their programs after the devastation of the pandemic, making sure they will continue to survive and thrive.
