About me
Erin Coleman is an actor, director, and teaching artist who has taught acting, theatre styles, on-camera comedy technique, industry prep, audition technique, sketch, and improvisation for all ages. She started as the Theater Director for a GSA camp and has since taught adults at Actors Comedy Studio, youth and teens at the New York Film Academy Summer Program, the youth program at Barnsdall Junior Arts Center, and college students at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, Los Angeles. She believes in injecting play, spontaneity, and team building into the work to allow actors to learn how to trust their instincts, live in the moment, support one another, and keep the joy alive in their creativity. She is the founding member of the nonprofit Future Artists of Los Angeles and currently serves as the Executive Director, overseeing their flagship initiative, the Los Angeles Community of Acting and Entertainment (LACAE) School and Theatre.
