Jay Gerlach is the Executive Vice President of Membership at EdTA. A passionate advocate for equitable access to arts education, Jay has led districtwide efforts across the country to strengthen theatre and arts programming, expand student opportunities, and secure critical grant funding to sustain and grow the arts. His work focuses on building high-quality, standards-based programs that foster academic achievement, social-emotional development, and community connection. Jay has developed educator training, adjudication frameworks, and strategic initiatives that center student voice, accessibility, and inclusive practices. Through collaboration with teachers, administrators, and community partners, he is committed to ensuring that every student has meaningful access to transformative arts experiences.
